Major Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Power Across Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating attacks in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while local people in the city's east were plunged into darkness and encountered interruptions to water systems, according to local authorities.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a distinct aerial attack in the southeastern region in the country's south-east, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified strikes on electrical systems over recent weeks, while officials has demanded "concrete actions" from international partners to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, Europe and the major economies - in providing defensive weapons and applying sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

He said that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty projectiles attacked energy facilities, describing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.

A series of attacks hit energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in the capital.

Multiple people injured in the strikes on the city have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the urban area experienced heavy assaults overnight. A young boy died and multiple civilians were wounded.

The assaults follow evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, sections of which are occupied by invading troops.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to detect.

Government officials told journalists that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the country's energy grid, with attacks already affecting energy systems.

Officials stated technical personnel and government agencies were anticipating additional strikes.
